These projects have such a special place in my heart. Not only do I do them with one of my oldest and bestest friends where we both get to talk about our passions and show off our talents but it was also the FIRST project I ever did for YouTube. That's right! I didn't have a very well structured vision when I started my channel, but I knew I wanted to at least feature cosplay in it, and what better way than to show off my beautifully talented friend, The Cuckoo Emporium
With this project we will be making a Zatanna outfit (with a twist) and I will be the model this time. My excitement can not contain itself!
We all know the drill by now, every Thursday I upload my weekly comic review video, where I get a sample of issue 1's that have come out this week and talk about them!
BUT WAIT! THERES MORE!
Because I am starting to read more and more comics every week and wanting to talk about them more and more, I have started ANOTHER channel (I know its getting ridiculous now) where I will be talking about all the other comics I cant fit into my weekly review video! I hope you enjoy!
Here is a video listing all the things I have wanted to do career-wise growing up.
I did this video many to show that my life has pretty much been trial and error. I didn't wake up one day and just open a game shop. It's been life long moments of trying new things and finding out what works for me and what I enjoyed.
Hope you enjoy it guys, what are the strangest things you've wanted to do or have done?
This week we look at DC Bombshells #1, Beauty #1 and Americatown #1
Well here is a con that needs very little introduction! MCM comic con is one of the countries largest conventions and its growing more and more with every event.
I was super excited to attend this con for many reasons. One due to the fact, that MCM (London) was my first ever serious convention which opened my eyes to this wonderful world but also because I had never attended the Manchester event. I also got my first ever press pass accepted off my own media name, TorAthena! It was the most uplifting and amazing feeling as it made me feel like all my hard work was finally paying off and getting noticed.
Annoyingly I wasn't able to attend the Saturday event as I couldn't get away from work but I had an absolutely amazing time at the Sunday event. The staff were so helpful as I didn't know where to go to collect my pass and also just had a general happy manner.
The atmosphere was just a great place and its actually quite scary to see how much Manchester MCM is growing every year and I can safely say I will be returning. Thank you so much MCM for letting me check it out!
The amazing cosplayers!
The cosplay standard at MCM Manchester was absolutely incredible, due to how busy it was, i did struggle to get as many photos as I want but I hope you enjoy the cute, awesome and wonderful costumes here.
Also! If you are featured here, let me know and I will put your credits in :)
YAY! This week were back to our visually normal self! Also the camera has gone from a little blurry to rather spiffing if you ask me!
Personally one of my favourite books ever ever ever! Simply stumbling across it a couple of years back in a comic shop, I couldn't imagine where my life would be without it now <3
There are too many people trying to hold each other back in this world. I want to use my own website to help spread the love and share with you my most awesomely talented friends!
