OK, I have to be completely honest here. Even though I am on (local) TV, I have met awesome incredible people being at BAY TV and even got to meet Charlie-Frikkin-Adlard... this was by far the biggest perk of volunteering for the studio so far!
Meeting Charlie Adlard was incredible, but because I wasn't able to actually participate in anything to do with WOW fest, a lot of my time was simply standing around waiting to be needed.
Mersey comic con was full of guests, stalls and people. The only thing I would have liked to see more of was actual comic stalls, but hey, you cant win them all!
We received actual press passes too, which went STRAIGHT to my head, I walked around like a god, it also helped alot that owning a shop that caters to geeks like myself made me bump into a lot of my customers there, who all came to say hello and have a little chat because I have the best customers in the world. So yeah, my head couldn't fit through standard sized doors.
My footage is mostly bumping into people I know, promoting incredible independent trades man and artists and the occasional incredible guest, if you want to watch the full thing, keep an eye out on BAY TV for our latest episode which will be featuring the full thing!
